What's Wrong with Paper? (Coming soon)

What’s wrong with paper? is a humorous and emotional memoir of my humble beginnings in the animation industry. The book tells a slice of my life when I first moved to Los Angeles where I encountered six people who have a significant impact on my experience in discovering the artist I am today. How did a TSA officer, hell-bent on sending me back across the border to Canada, ultimately push me to vocalize my dreams for the first time? Or finding myself sitting down with a cult leader who opens my eyes to the importance of building genuine relationships after an induction ceremony? Each chapter focuses on one of these individuals and the lessons they indirectly teach me as I learn to navigate a new country, industry, and the inner workings of an artist's mind in this autobiographical graphic novel.
